WE LOVE TREES – 5 REASONS WHY

If your family is anything like ours, you’ll love exploring the stunning nature that Gloucestershire and The Cotswolds has to offer. One of our favourite things to do whilst out and about (especially in The Forest of Dean!) is to explore and identify cool trees! We love teaching our little ones about them and stopping to count the rings on fallen trees.

  1. Trees are Beautiful – We are fortunate in the UK to have the seasons that allow us to see how the trees change and adapt over the year. So many beautiful sights to see with new buds blooming and growing in the spring time and turning to gold in the Autumn

  2. Trees Increase our Homes Value – a beautiful tree can add value from a atheistic perspective. Aswell as well position tree which can help our homes sell quicker and increase the value, by providing much needed shelter from sun or windbreak.

  3. Trees Give us Comfort – we all have those childhood memories of enjoying a picnic under a tree in the summer, making potions with the exposed roots, collecting conkers. As we grow older, trees remind us of these treasured memories and make us stop our busy lives to remember for a few moments.

  4. Trees Give us Clean Air – by taking in carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen, tree produce clean air for us to breath. Trees also act as filters by absorb pollutants giving us even cleaner air.

  5. Tree Give us Wood - we use wood for all sorts of things; heat, energy, paper, construction, toys and so much more.

That’s why, at Project Outdoors we really care about where the timber comes from for our projects. We use high quality wood sourced locally from the Brecon Beacons which is also sustainably sourced. We also believe that choosing high quality timber results in a more luxurious feel to your Garden Room as well as it lasting longer and requiring less maintenance.
